maison de pawZ was created in the Upper East Side of NYC. We are a Parisian-inspired pâwtisseries, creating human grade, gluten + grain free dog treats and cakes to celebrate all occasions.
We spent almost two years in the test kitchen trying various flours and local suppliers before deciding to use Farmer Ground’s 100% gluten & wheat free buckwheat flour for all of our treats. Sourced from Trumansburg, NY, just a few hours drive from Manhattan, you can see each beautiful grain of goodness in all of our biscuits.
Tyler was our 13 yo miniature American Eskimo who was the inspiration for maison de pawZ and an official taste tester. His fur sibling, Marcel, has now taken over the honors of Chief Treat Officer. Marcel is a toothless, 13 yo long haired chihuahua rescued from a puppy mill in Oklahoma. His favorite treat is our Cheesy Sweet Potato Fries and Tuna Niçoise dog biscuits.
Our limited ingredients, artisanal dog biscuits are individually hand-cut and slow baked in small batches; you will not find more than FIVE INGREDIENTS in each of our biscuits, with organic fruit & produce hand-picked from local NYC Green Markets’ farmers and other regional suppliers within the Hudson Valley when available. Our low-calorie treats are perfect for picky dogs with sensitive stomachs and allergies!
Each of our dog cakes are baked to order and always fresh. You may ask why we do not have a cake in our shop to purchase. We pride ourselves on being able to custom your dog’s cake to suit your dog’s taste. We happily work with you on a party theme and can cater everything from a doggy burger + fries party to a weekend brunch pawty for your closest fur pals with our puptails. If your dog has any special allergies or food concerns, we are happy to accommodate if possible.
All items in our pâwtisserie are all-natural with zero sugar, salt, preservatives, chemicals and by-products. We love our four-legged companions and want to make sure they eat only the very best with ingredients that we would eat ourselves (and we have!).
