maison de pawZ was originally founded on the Upper East Side of New York City. We are a limited ingredient, human grade dog pâwtisserie, originally inspired by the French love of food and feeding tous les bon chiens fresh, made-from-scratch treats. All treats are created with a mindful intention of using ingredients that promote a healthy lifestyle for your dog.
I spent almost two years in the test kitchen baking dog biscuits with various flours and local suppliers before deciding to use Farmer Ground’s 100% gluten & wheat free buckwheat flour for all of our treats. Sourced from Trumansburg, NY, just a few hours drive from Manhattan, you can see each beautiful grain of goodness in all of our biscuits.
Tyler was our 13 yo miniature American Eskimo who was the inspiration for maison de pawZ and an official taste tester. His fur sibling, Marcel, has now taken over the honors of Chief Treat Officer. Marcel is a toothless, 15 yo long haired chihuahua rescued from a puppy mill in Oklahoma. His favorite treat is our Cheesy Sweet Potato Fries and Tuna Niçoise dog biscuits.
Recently, I adopted a new puppy from Pupstarz Rescue in Brooklyn, NY. Federal is a 4 month old chihuahua terrier mix with lots of big puppy energy. He loves all food so far….except for strawberries + cucumbers.
Our limited ingredients, artisanal dog biscuits are individually hand-cut and slow baked in small batches; you will not find more than FIVE INGREDIENTS in each of our biscuits, with organic fruit & produce hand-picked from local NYC Green Markets’ farmers and other regional suppliers within the Hudson Valley when available. Our low-calorie treats are perfect for picky dogs with sensitive stomachs and allergies!
Each of my dog cakes are baked to order and always fresh. All cakes are custom to suit your dog’s taste. I will work with you on a party theme and can cater everything from a doggy burger + fries party to a weekend brunch for your closest fur pals with our puptails. If your dog has any special allergies or food concerns, I am happy to accommodate if possible.
All items in the pâwtisserie are baked with human grade ingredients with zero sugar, salt, preservatives, chemicals and by-products. I love all your four-legged companions and want to make sure they eat only the very best with ingredients that I would eat myself (and I have!).
